Glenda Thomas of Arlington, Texas underwent brain aneurysm surgery on May 6, 2015. She is using art to relax her mind. Glenda began with Zentangle-inspired images. Now she is creating digital art. Glenda says, "I feel so relaxed when I draw. I do not usually plan what my image will be. I move within the moment without criticism of what I draw. Zentangle is a method that is founded on this main concept "There are no mistakes." When I make a line or a shape , I have learned to take what I would have called a mistake, and make it a part of my design. Now I am creating art with that same foundation."
Glenda has published a book about her brain aneurysm experience from the day she was told she it through the first six months of recuperation. . The Next Chapter:Glenda's Brain Aneurysm Journe. (Available on Amazon.)
